OK OK...I'm still living in Babylon Village.
I'm a Union Operating Engineer, primarily a Long Boom Crane operator, for 43 years.
I have been a member of the Babylon Fire Department, as of 1/5/10 for 44 years.
As such, I am an EX-Captain of the Electric Hose Company #4.....an Ex-Squad Leader of the Babylon Fire Department Rescue Squad....past crew chief of crew 4 in rescue....1st riding EMT in rescue (1971)

In 1987, I was elected Welfare Representative from the Electric Hose Comapny #4 to the Welfare Committee....the following year I was elected Chairman of the Welfare Committee...a postion I held for 12 consecutive years (1988-2000) deciding to not run again in 2000. I still go to fires, but do not ride Rescue any more.
